In interviews, Elton John has listed a number of other projects of his in various stages, including an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. He also told Rolling Stone magazine that he plans for his next record to be in the R&B/hip-hop genre. "I want to work with Pharrell {Williams}, Timbaland, Snoop {Dogg}, Kanye {West}, Eminem and just see what happens. It may be a disaster, it could be fantastic, but you don't know until you try." John claims to be a big fan of Blackstreet's 1996 hit, No Diggity. He is currently working on the upcoming album.

***I am a big fan of Elton. I have probably 20 of his 29 albums and I loved his latest album "The Captain and the Kid." I'm curious and a bit scared how the hip-hop Elton John album will be.***

No, LOL, but he wore that duck outfit for the Reg Strikes Back tour in 1987 after he came back from having throat cancer.
